Employer Matching Gifts

Many employers now offer matching gift programs to their employees, retirees, and family members. By making a donation through your employers’ matching gift program, your contribution to HFH-MC could double, or even triple! Contact your company’s Human Resource office to find out if they offer a matching gift program!

Tribute Gifts

Consider making a gift in memory, or in honor of a loved one! It is a great way to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion. All tribute gifts will be acknowledged with a special card. To make your tribute gift, please contact the Development office at 301-990-0014 ext. 20.

Gifts of Stocks & Securities

An increasing number of people are choosing to make gifts of stock, bonds or mutual funds. A gift of stock is a great way to help HFH-MC build affordable homes, and is of little cost to you! An added benefit is that the full value of your gift is tax deductible!

Planned Giving & Estate Gifts

In-kind Donations

HFH-MC gladly accepts donations of building materials, tools, land*, and professional services, such as electrical/plumbing! You can also donate your appliances, furniture and other household items to the Habitat ReStore! The Habitat ReStore is a retail outlet specializing in selling new and used building materials, home furnishing and appliances to the public at deeply reduced prices!
