Looking For an Opportunity to Buy a Simple, Decent, Affordable Home?

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County (HFH-MC) is now holding information sessions for those interested in applying for homeownership opportunities in Clarksburg, Maryland.  HFH-MC will build a total of six two-level piggyback townhomes and provide approved applicants with an affordable long-term mortgage.  These six homes will be a part of a larger subdivision and all homeowners will be members of a homeowners association.   

Requirements for Habitat homeownership include a demonstrated housing need, ability to pay a monthly mortgage, legal permanent U.S. residency, lived or worked in Montgomery County for the past year, and a willingness to partner with Habitat throughout the homeownership process.

Attendance at an information sessions is mandatory to receive and application and is by RSVP only.  Each information sessions will include a pre-screening session.  Only applicants who meet preliminary qualifications will be admitted into the information session.  The information session will provide interested applicants with detailed information about HFH-MC and our application process and criteria.
