On January 14, 2009 Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County (HFH-MC) launched its new community outreach initiative. This initiative began by finding new and interesting ways to communicate with current and potential supporters.

"One of the goals of the affiliate for 2009 is to expand our circle of friends in Montgomery County so that others can see what we're doing to help families. After all, a frequent comment we hear is, ‘I didn't know there is a Habitat affiliate in Montgomery County!’ Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone in the county discovered our affiliate in 2009?"

Habitat is using the internet to help get their message across. You can now find HFH-MC on popular sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Also check out the HFH-MC blog, Habi-Titus which is a place where you can get information about what is happening around the HFH-MC office, construction site and ReStore, and where you can share your stories of working with Habitat.
