Volunteer
Volunteering at Habitat ReStore is a great way to be involved with Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat ReStore is almost entirely volunteer run – volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Each volunteer possesses different skills and experiences that are assets to Habitat ReStore and its mission.
Looking to do SSL or ACS hours? ReStore is and approved organization!
Volunteer Opportunities:
Irregular Volunteer – Volunteer for a 4 or 8 hours shift whenever you’re available. Work on the sales floor with customers and other volunteers, providing assistance and organizing merchandise.
Regular Volunteer – Set up a schedule of at least 4 hours per week. Help with customer service, merchandising, ringing on the register, pricing, fixing up items, and so much more!
*Due to the nature of our business we do require that all volunteers are over the age of 14 and that those volunteers aged 14 or 15 volunteer with a parent or guardian.
Internships & Special Project Openings:
Truck Driver - This is an unpaid volunteer position with a lot of potential! We need someone at least one day per week to drive our ReStore truck around Montgomery County and pick up donations. Volunteer will assist with lifting, loading, and working with incoming donations. You must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record.
