Habitat Committee Members are a vital part of our organization, working directly with affiliate staff and volunteers to help further our mission of building simple, decent and affordable housing. As a committee member, you will attend monthly meetings, interact with like-minded individuals and see real change happening as a result of your contributions!

Meetings are held once a month at the Habitat office located at 9110 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Committee meetings begin promptly at 7pm.

Family Selection Volunteers Needed

Volunteers serve as members of the Family Services committee and focus their energies on reviewing applications for homeownership. Attention to detail, passion for our mission, confidentiality and ability to commit 5-10 hours/ month are a must. Experience with Habitat or mortgage underwriting is a plus.
