Who We Are:

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, MD (HFH-MC) is a non-profit ecumenical Christian organization that provides affordable homeownership opportunities for low- income families.

What We Do:

HFH-MC works with volunteers, sponsors, and Habitat homeowners to construct or rehabilitate affordable housing. HFH-MC homes are sold to qualified families at no profit and financed with zero interest mortgages.

Why We Work:

Montgomery County, MD is one of the most affluent communities in the nation, but thousands live in substandard housing. Income growth in many jobs has remained stagnant, but housing costs have skyrocketed, making the dream of homeownership almost impossible for low-income families.
